The Mount Gambier Racing Club Inc operates at the Allan Scott Glenburnie Racecourse, located on the corner of Jubliee Highway East and Casterton/Attiwill Roads, 10km from Mount Gambier.

Mount Gambier is one of South Australia’s largest regional centres, known for its unique and ancient landscape of volcanic craters, lakes, limestone and mysterious underground waterways.

Situated between Adelaide and Melbourne, Mount Gambier is a popular Limestone Coast destination in the State’s South-East and the perfect stopover for those travelling to and from The Great Ocean Road or the Grampians.

About five hours south-east of Adelaide, the region provides not only plenty of natural and cultural attractions to entertain both visitors and locals alike, but also a festive racing carnival and associated events in May each year.
