Women from all over the South East and beyond gathered at the Scott Group of Companies Mount Gambier Gold Cup Carnival on Thursday 20 May for the highly anticipated 2010 Ladies Day.

More than 150 women joined in the fun of the annual event which helps raise money for local CFS/CFA projects and volunteers who work tirelessly to protect lives and properties in the event of fire and emergency situations, including road accident callouts.

A three course gourmet luncheon was provided by Finn’s Fine Foods and a complimentary glass of sparkling wine greeted guests on arrival.

‘Frock Up Promotions’ had the crowd in stitches with Anny Byrne and Shelley O’Dwyer being flown from Warragul especially for the luncheon.

Wild Lime and Shahn Collie presented a fashion parade and there was a highly relevant presentation from CFS/CFA personnel on the role of volunteers.

Major sponsors of the 2010 Ladies Day were Trans-Australian Livestock, T&R Pastoral Pty Ltd and Keatley Livestock.
